A year of innovation, connection, and purpose

As 2025 draws to a close, it’s clear this has been one of the most significant years in MIMO Connect’s journey. From the launch of the MIMO Go Case, to hosting our first invite‑only webinar, and unveiling The Curve at METSTRADE in Amsterdam, the year has been defined by practical innovation, collaboration, and a shared commitment to advancing marine connectivity.

Lessons we’ve learned

Each milestone has reinforced a simple truth: innovation is most effective when shaped by the people who rely on it.

  • The MIMO Go Case highlighted the importance of portability and resilience — solutions must adapt to the varied environments of the marine sector.

  • Our August webinar underscored the value of dialogue, creating space for captains, ETOs, owners, and professionals to share insights that inform our design philosophy.

  • The Curve demonstrated that refinement can be just as impactful as reinvention, combining ergonomic design with sustainability to set a new benchmark for future‑ready connectivity.

Building community through events

2025 was also a year of connection. MIMO Connect participated in a wide range of industry gatherings. From the Southampton Boat Show, British Soiree, Barcelona Tech, Monaco Boat Show, Antigua Charter Yacht Show, Palma Boat Show, and the Emergency Tech Show, among others. These events provided opportunities to meet new industry colleagues, reconnect with familiar faces, and share experiences of challenges overcome through teamwork and innovation.

One highlight was the Palma Golf Day, where our colleague Stuart Green was recognised with the “Personality of the Day” award by Superyacht Charities. The trustees’ decision reflected the values of generosity, camaraderie, and community spirit that the event celebrates. For us, it was a proud moment to see a member of our team acknowledged for the qualities he brings not only to MIMO but to the wider industry.

Gratitude for our team and clients

None of this would have been possible without the dedication of the MIMO Connect team. Their creativity and commitment continue to drive our progress. I am equally grateful to our clients and partners, whose trust and feedback push us to keep raising the bar. Together, we’ve built more than products, we’ve strengthened relationships that support the wider marine community.

Looking ahead to 2026

The year ahead promises to be just as dynamic. In 2026, we will continue to expand our portfolio of connectivity solutions, with a focus on:

  • Sustainability: embedding responsibility into every innovation.

  • User‑centric design: ensuring our solutions reflect the evolving expectations of the marine sector.

  • Future‑ready technology: exploring smart integrations that enhance reliability and performance in even the most challenging environments.

Our mission remains clear: to refine connectivity for the marine world, ensuring every innovation is purposeful, responsible, and aligned with the needs of our community.

Here’s to another year of progress, collaboration, and connection. Thank you for being part of this journey , we look forward to sharing what’s next in 2026.
